Focus on weather today

Showers or thundershowers will occur in the Galle, Matara, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya districts and in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces. Showers or thundershowers will occur in the Uva and Eastern provinces during the evening or night.

 

Winds will be 40-50 kmph in Hambantota, Trincomalee districts and in the North and North Central provinces.

The general public is urged to take necessary measures to minimize the damage caused by lightning and wind.
