The maximum retail price for oximeters has been gazetted

A special gazette notification signed by Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella has been issued setting a maximum retail price of Rs. 3,000 per oximeter.

In the past few days, 5,200 oxymeters have been found ready to be sold without proper registration in some areas.

Only the oximeters of five suppliers have been approved by the National Medicines Regulatory Authority and the brands have been published on the website of the National Medicines Regulatory Authority.
