Requests from private bus owners

The Private Bus Owners' Association has requested the government to intervene to obtain insurance compensation as the private bus industry has collapsed due to the Kovid situation.

The President of the Private Bus Owners' Association Gemunu Wijeratne stated that this request is being made as the insurance premiums have been paid properly even though the buses are not running.
