Showers will occur at several places in the Kandy, Nuwara Eliya districts and in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern and Northwestern provinces, the Met Department said.

Showers or thundershowers during the morning in the Northern Province and in other parts of the country after the evening.

The Meteorological Department urges the public to take necessary measures to minimize the damage caused by lightning and temporary winds.
