The first batch of 4 million sinopharm vaccines arrived in Sri Lanka

The airport duty manager said the first batch of 4 million doses of Chinese-made sinopharm injections arrived at the airport at around 4.48am.

The consignment, which weighed 16,192 kilograms and was packed in 42 dry ice boxes, was brought to Sri Lanka from Beijing by a SriLankan Airlines flight.

Sri Lanka has so far received 22 million doses of sinopharm injection from China, the Chinese Embassy said.
