It is difficult to close the country - Ajith Nivard Cabraal

State Minister of Finance Ajith Nivard Cabraal stated that the country will not be able to withstand further closure.

He added that half of the country's population could not bear the consequences of the lockout and that those in the small and medium scale sector could no longer bear the burden.
