Long queues for passports

The Department of Immigration and Emigration stated that on an average, nearly 1000 applications are received daily to obtain passports under the one day service.

 

The Department of Immigration and Emigration said that nearly 11,242 people had applied for passports through the General Service during this period.

 

The Immigration and Emigration Department says that the passport rate for one day service has been increased by Rs. 500 as a result.
