Local research reveals that the antibody response is low in all age groups

Researchers at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura (USJ) have found that people who received the synoform vaccine as a shield against Covid-19 had a lower T-cell response, while antibody responses were lower in all age groups, especially those under 60 years of age.

 

Professor Neelika Malavige, Head of the Department of Immunology and Molecular Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, said in a Twitter message that the research was carried out on the persistence of antibody and T-cell responses to the cyanoform vaccine.
