Importation of chillies will be stopped in future
The Minister of Agriculture Mahindananda Aluthgamage stated that steps will be taken to stop the importation of chillies within the next three years.
The Minister further stated that the importation of onions, potatoes and chillies will be banned within the next three years and those crops will be cultivated in the country.
