Grama Nildhari officers refuse to distribute Rs.5000 cash allowance

​​​​​Sri Lanka Grama Niladhari Association has stated that  they are immensely  inconvenienced with the sudden decision reached by the government to provide an allowance of Rs. 5000/- for 7 categories of families including low income families over the Sinhala and Tamil New Year.

 

President of the Grama Niladhari association, Sumith Kodikara stated that the Grama Niladharis cannot get involved in the payment process of this Rs. 5000/- allowance.
