SLBFE identifies 14 hotels to accommodate 30,000 migrant workers for free
The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment has identified 14 three-star hotels across Sri Lanka to accommodate 30,000 migrant workers who will be repatriated under a new scheme.
“Now, they have to pay for their airfare only and the Government will look after their hotel expenses,” SLBFE Media Spokesman Mangala Randeniya has told the Daily News.
Most of the said migrant workers are stranded in Qatar, Kuwait and Jordan, Oman, Bahrain, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia.
