Galle police are self-quarantining

Eight officers of the Galle Police have been infected with covid and 29 police officers identified as their associates have been directed to quarantine themselves.

A police officer who was receiving treatment at the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital due to a covid infection has died and is currently on duty at the police station.
