A third eye to the bridge under "Save the Rivers"

Under the "Surakimu Ganga Program", the Ministry of Environment has initiated a program to prevent the release of plastic and garbage into the Kelani River from bridges from Hanwella to Peliyagoda.

Accordingly, steps will be taken to install CCTV cameras on bridges across the river, said Dr. Anil Jasinghe, Secretary to the Ministry of Environment.
