Occasional rains occur in Eastern and Uva provinces.

In the afternoon or during the night there will be scattered showers or thunderstorms in Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Galle and Matara districts.

Fairly gusty winds of around 40 km/h can be expected in Northern, North-Central, Central and North-Western provinces and Trincomalee and Hambantota districts.
