UNP memberships of over 1,000 local councilors to be suspended

 

The United National Party has unanimously decided to suspend the party membership of 1137 local government members of the United National Party.

Accordingly, this decision has been taken by the Working Committee of the United National Party due to the members expressing support for other parties ahead of the elections to be held on March 09, 2023.
