President hopeful of commencing debt restructuring process by March

 

President Ranil Wickremesinghe hopes that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) board will approve the $2.9 billion bailout package by March this year to start the debt restructuring process for Sri Lanka.

Addressing an event organized by the Sri Lanka Technology Campus (SLTC) Research University in Colombo this morning (15 February), the Head of State said that Sri Lanka is now in the phase of economic stability.
