Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Galle, Matara districts and in the Western provinces. Showers or thundershowers will occur in the Uva and Eastern provinces and in the Mullaitivu and Polonnaruwa districts during the evening or night.

Showers are also possible in the North Western Province.

The general public is urged to take necessary measures to minimize the damage caused by lightning and wind.
