75% of people over the age of 30 have been fully vaccinated - Army Commander

Army Commander General Shavendra Silva said that more than 75% of Sri Lankans over the age of 30 have been fully vaccinated.

He further said that nearly 1.5 million people have been vaccinated against covid so far.

Authorities are continuing vaccination programs.

President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has said that by September 10, all people over the age of 30 will be given both doses of the covid vaccine.
