Extension of service of coroners

Due to the prevailing covid 19 epidemic situation, it has been decided to extend the tenure of the coroners in permanent and base service till December 31, 2021.

The Coroner does not need to apply to the Ministry of Coroners whose term of office or extension of service expired on March 31 this year but whose tenure has not yet been extended and who have completed 70 years of age from August 1 to December 31.

These Circulars and Provisions shall not apply to coroners who have been notified in writing that an extension of service will not be granted for disciplinary reasons or other reasons.
