Do not avoid being hospitalized for fear of covid - Doctors

Physiotherapist at the Colombo National Hospital Dr. Harsha Sathischandra said that patients in homes suffering from various ailments should be hospitalized immediately if they have any discomfort.

The doctor said that some patients are afraid of being hospitalized because of the fear of the covid virus.

He further said that in case of a serious illness such as a heart attack, they will have to face an unfortunate fate due to not being hospitalized.
