Changes the quarantine system for foreigners

The Director General of Health Services has once again revised the existing quarantine system for persons coming to Sri Lanka from abroad.

Sri Lankans and dual nationals arriving in the country from India after being fully vaccinated do not need to obtain permission from the Civil Aviation Authority and the Ministry of External Affairs before arriving in the country, but it is mandatory to undergo a PCR test upon their arrival in the country.
