The door is closed to Sajith who went to see the arrested teachers

The Leader of the Opposition did not get a chance to visit the 44 teachers arrested during the protest near the Presidential Secretariat.

Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa asked what kind of democracy there was if the Leader of the Opposition was not allowed to visit the arbitrarily arrested teachers.

He further stated that it is the responsibility of the Leader of the Opposition to look into the matter and that a question of privilege will be raised in Parliament in this regard.
