The Russians do not want to be vaccinated But we bring in tourists - Udayanga

Former Ambassador to Russia Udayanga Weeratunga has said that only 20% of all Russians in Russia have been vaccinated against measles and that the Russians are reluctant to get vaccinated.

However, he said that a program to bring Russian tourists to Sri Lanka would be implemented from August 1.

The Ministry of Tourism has decided to work with the Ministry of External Affairs to lift restrictions imposed on 21 countries banned from visiting Sri Lanka due to the Covid situation.
