COVID-19 Update : WHO warns of second wave

The World Health Organisation has warned of second wave of coronavirus outbreak as over 100,000 confirmed cases have been reported worldwide each day.

 

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, director general of the WHO asserted that it took over two months to reach 100,000-mark, but now that is a daily norm

 

Nearly three-quarters of each day’s new cases come from 10 countries, mostly in South Asia and the Americas”, he said.

 

He also talked about a new cluster of cases in Beijing, which went more than 50 days without a new case of COVID-19.
