Vehicles seized for violating curfew to be released

The President's Media Division stated that a decision has been reached to return  all vehicles taken into custody for violating the curfew regulations imposed, to their owners.

 

Approximately 19,000 vehicles were seized by the police over curfew violations since the 20th of March.

 

Acting IGP  C. D. Wickremaratne has been directed to take necessary steps with this regard.
