The Police Constable who foiled the robbery at National Hospital killed in accident

The Police Constable attached to the State Intelligence Services , who foiled the Rs. 7.9 million robbery at the Colombo National Hospital has passed away while in treatment today (June 14), following a road accident involving a defender at Bambalapitiya on the 11th of June.

 

The accident has taken place close to the Sambudhdha Jayanthi Mandiraya along Havelock Road in Colombo.

 

Police said that he had been 22 years of age at the time of passing.
