Blinken assures support to promote US investments in Sri Lanka after IMF talks end

US Secretary of State Anthony J. Blinken has agreed to assist Sri Lanka and promote investment following talks with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

The Prime Minister said in a Twitter message that he had briefed the US Secretary of State on the current economic situation in Sri Lanka and called on the two countries to work closely together.

He assured that he would extend his support to further promote US investment in Sri Lanka after the conclusion of the International Monetary Fund talks.
