The Court of Appeal ordered not to enforce the arrest warrants issued against the Kurunegala Mayor and 4 others until August 24.
Kurunegala Mayor Thushara Sanjeewa filed a writ petition with the Court of Appeal, on August 11, seeking an order to prevent the enforcement of the arrest warrent issued by the Kurunegala Magistrate.
