A Chinese woman has died in Sri Lanka

A Katunayake Police spokesman said that a Chinese woman who was receiving treatment for covid infection at the Negombo General Hospital had died while she was a 38 year old resident of Adiambalama, Kimbulapitiya Road, Katunayake.

The woman, who had lived in the country for about two years, was admitted to the Negombo Hospital recently for treatment of fever.

Her mother, who lives in China, was informed of her death through the Chinese embassy.
