16 members of the Wennappuwa Police have contracted covid

It is reported that 16 officers of the Wennappuwa Police have been infected with the Covid 19 virus.

A police sergeant who went to the Narahenpita Police Hospital for treatment has confirmed that he has contracted Covid.

A police inspector, four sub-inspectors, seven police sergeants, three police constables and a cook were also infected with the corona.
