Focus on the weather today

Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in some parts of the island and in the Sabaragamuwa Province and in the Nuwara Eliya and Kandy districts.

Showers will occur in Galle, Matara districts and in the Western and North Western provinces.

Strong winds of 40-60 kmph are expected in the Central Highlands, North, North Central and North Western Provinces and in the Hambantota and Trincomalee Districts.
