121 arrested for violating quarantine rules in last 24 hours

Senior DIG Police Media Spokesman Ajith Rohana stated that 121 persons have been arrested for violating the country's curfew and quarantine laws.

The Police Media Spokesman further stated that 51,895 persons have been arrested for violating the quarantine laws in the country so far.

It has been reported that a group of persons who tried to cross the provinces in violation of the provincial traffic restrictions and their vehicles were diverted.
