Thirty people who went to rescue a child fall into a well

Thirty people who had come to rescue a child who had fallen into a deep well in a village in the Vidisha district in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh have reportedly fallen into the well due to their weight breaking.
Shivraj Chauhan, the state's chief minister, said 19 people had been rescued from the 50-foot-deep well, which was about 20 feet deep, and that life-saving operations were continuing.
He further said that steps have been taken to provide Rs. 500,000 each to the families of the victims and Rs. 50,000 each to the injured for medical treatment.
