Sri Arts | Digital Artwork featuring contemporary Realism with a twist of Humor

The genre of Digital Art has been in the existence since the sixties, where it has witnessed a series of evolutionary stages throughout. The advent of technology has seen the digital age offering a plethora of opportunities to the budding artists not only to sell their works of art, but also to enliven their creative ideas to life on digital platforms as successful entrepreneurs.

 

 

Raveesha Srihari Wickramesinghe, the founder and owner of Sri Arts is known for her unique style of transforming the events in real life into impressive doodles. Raveesha’s stint in doodling and calligraphy began when she was a toddler and she was a hotelier by profession prior to the inception of her venture; Sri Arts. This passionate young lady has followed her childhood dream which ultimately came true and became more of a thriving commercialized venture. She follows the caricature style in most of her paintings where she aspires to resemble the contemporary events while spreading happiness among her clientele through them.

 

 

Hailing from Moratuwa, Sri Lanka , this self-taught, young doodler and calligrapher works on greeting cards, wood framed caricatures, wedding stationary, tote bags, book marks, wrapping papers, pencil cases, metal badges and calendars. Her paintings are infused with a great deal of humor and realism that make them great art resonating powerful messages. Sri Arts also offers a series of unique digital art work and calligraphy lettering on wedding stationary (cake boxes and invitation cards), which has gained substantial popularity especially among the youth

 

 

Sri Arts has also collaborated with a number of local and international projects initiated by UNDP Sri Lanka, UN Women, UNFPA, Mconcepts for Kandos Chocolate, Santani Wellness Resorts, Beverly Street, Ritz Carlton Abu Dhabi and Gifter.lk.
