India’s health ministry is taking measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19

In order to deal with rising Covid-19 cases, the Indian health ministry is conducting mock drills on Monday and Tuesday to check the preparedness of hospitals.
India’s current active case count is relatively low but the experts are insisting on precautions to prevent the further spread of the disease.
Since the country was in a critical situation due to the deadly second wave in 2021 running out of oxygen and care beds both public and private hospitals are participating in the mock drills, which are being supervised by India’s health minister; Mansukh Mandaviya, and other state health ministers.
India has already shown 35,000 active counts and 6,000 of new cases on Sunday. Mr. Mandaviya asked the health officials to increase testing and vaccination including identifying emergency hotspots for Covid 19.
