Indonesian Ferry capsizes

A tragic incident occurred on Monday when a ferry carrying 40 passengers sank off the coast of Sulawesi Island. International media reports that at least 15 people have lost their lives, and 19 others are still missing, as confirmed by the Indonesian search and rescue agency.

 

 

The ferry sank at midnight, leading to an immediate response from authorities to manage the emergency. However, the exact cause of the accident remains uncertain as rescue operations are ongoing.

 

 

Rescuers saved six individuals from the wreckage, who were then taken to a nearby hospital for urgent medical treatment.
