UK approves Pfizer for children between 12-15

The UK has given the approval for Pfizer vaccine for 12-15 years olds saying that it is both safe and effective with more benefits than the risks.

 

The vaccine is already approved for 16 and above.

 

However, Dr.June Raine the chief Executive of the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has said that the safety of the jab for the said age group should be monitored carefully.
