“Dragon man” , the newest member of the human clan

According to a geochemical study, the well-preserved skullcap, discovered in the Chinese city of Harbin, is between 138,000 and 309,000 years old, and it mixes primitive traits like a broad nose and low forehead and braincase with more Homo sapiens-like features like flat and delicate cheekbones.
The new human was given the name Homo longi, which comes from Heilongjiang, or Black Dragon River, the region where the skull was discovered.
