After the initial dose of AstraZeneca, the German Chancellor receives Moderna as her second

German chancellor Angela Merkel the 66-year-old received her first dosage of AstraZeneca's vaccine in April. After receiving the AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccination, Merkel received the “Moderna (mRNA-1273)” coronavirus vaccine as her second shot.

In 53 countries, including the United States, Canada, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Israel, and Singapore, the Moderna COVID19 vaccine is approved for use at some level.

Moderna Inc, an American pharmaceutical and biotechnology company, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), and the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) together have developed this vaccine.
