A new system is developed to extract CO2 from seawater

A group of researchers at the University of California has developed a project to suggest solutions for global warming. As informed by “Fance Info” the objective of the program is to empty the CO2 contained in the ocean. This project intends to increase the capacity of the sea to absorb more CO2.

 

Researchers plan to recover the seawater by extracting the inorganic compound and reinjecting the cleaned water into the ocean again. The system is developed to send an electrical shock into the water to extract carbon dioxide.
