"Hello Mumbai" Apple greets to India

Apple Inc (AAPL.O) unveiled the appearance of its freshly established store in India. It is more likely that the store which is still in barricades will open this month, a person who has close connections with the matter has revealed to Reuters.
India has become a big market for the Cupertino, California-based company, which launched an online retail store in the world's second-largest smartphone market in 2020. Yet, due to its high cost, Apple has failed to exceed the 3% share of India's smartphone market.
The first attempt of Apple to open physical retail stores in India has been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, Apple products had the market in India through e-commerce platforms such as Amazon.com Inc (AMZN.O) and Walmart Inc's (WMT.N) Flipkart, as well as through resellers. And also India is increasingly providing a manufacturing platform, with some Apple products, including iPhones, assembled in the country by Taiwanese contract electronics manufacturers Foxconn (2317.TW) and Wistron Corp (3231.TW). Apple also plans to assemble iPads and AirPods in India.
People were enjoying outside the store, taking selfies on Wednesday evening, having the background logo with a greeting from Apple, "Hello Mumbai".
