Sri Lanka secures historic ODI victory over Australia

Sri Lanka continued their dominance over Australia in the second ODI of their bilateral series, clinching a 174-run victory at the R. Premadasa Stadium. 

With this win, Sri Lanka sealed the series 2-0 and recorded their biggest-ever ODI triumph over Australia in a bilateral series.

Chasing a target of 282, Australia struggled from the outset on a turning track, as Sri Lanka’s spinners exploited the conditions to full effect. 

The Australian batters found it difficult to counter the spin attack, with Asitha Fernando, Dunith Wellalage, and Wanindu Hasaranga leading the charge with the ball.
