Reportedly, 175 accidents in this New Year

According to Colombo National Hospital records, a sum of 175 accidents were reported during the New Year days. 145 of them involved males.

 

A significant reduction of injuries caused by fireworks was there this New Year however, only one incident was reported related to injuries caused by the use of firecrackers.

 

When compared to others, there has been a lack of use of firecrackers during this festive season.
