Fingerprint machines made mandatory for public sector

According to the circular related to the use of fingerprint machines for making attendance, the government has taken measures to make mandatory the use of fingerprint machines with effect from today (May 15). The circular was issued with the signature of the Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government, K.D. N. Ranjith Asoka.
Due to the Covid epidemic, in the past few years, the use of fingerprint machines was temporarily suspended.
To prevent fraudulent actions in most public workplaces, this has been mandatory for the employees in public sector today.
