34 trains were in operation out of 210 today, Railway Department says

The Railway Department Deputy General Manager (Commercial) V.S. Polwattage said that a total of 34 trains out of 210 services have been canceled today. During the festive season, long-distance services have been prioritized, according to him.

 

"The canceled train services were provincial services, and that will not affect the entire service," he said.

 

Managing the available staff, the majority of the provincial train services were in operation.
