’Threat to my life and family’: Roshan complains to Speaker

Claiming that there are threats to his life and his family, Sports Minister Roshan Ranasinghe requested the Speaker to look into his security.

 

Raising a privilege issue in Parliament, he said Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) President Shammi Silva and Sudath Chandarasekara had made threatening statements against him during a news conference recently.

 

The Minister said he has lodged a complaint with the CID over the incident.

 

He requested the Speaker to look into the matter and take necessary action to ensure his security.
