Another patient's life cut short by allergic reaction to antibiotic

A patient admitted to the District General Hospital in Gampaha has tragically passed away due to an allergic reaction to an antibiotic drug. 

 

 

The patient admitted for an injury, experienced an adverse reaction after receiving the antibiotic treatment. 

 

 

The specific antibiotic has been temporarily halted in response to the incident as authorities investigate the situation.
