Interim order: restrains three GKH Directors

The Commercial High Court has issued interim orders by Section 233(5) of the Companies Act, restraining three Golden Key Hospitals Ltd. (G.K.H.) directors from voting to approve new Director appointments and from altering the company's share register or official records. 

 

 

The Directors named in the order are A.R Gunawardena, R. Ranganathan, and T.N.M. Peiris. These Directors also hold positions in Ceylinco Insurance Company P.L.C. 

 

 

The petitioners, representing the interests of Golden Key Credit Card Company Ltd. on the Board of G.K.H., sought these orders in compliance with Supreme Court case No.SCFR191/2009. 

 

 

The court's decision aims to prevent actions contrary to the Supreme Court's orders.
