Shooting in Madirigiriya claims life of 36-year-old woman

Yesterday (16), a tragic incident occurred in Madirigiriya, where a 36-year-old woman died in a fatal shooting. According to reports, the shooter hiding near the victim's residence opened fire and inflicted mortal wounds on her.

 

 

Promptly after the incident, the victim was rushed to the Medirigiriya Base Hospital for immediate medical attention, and despite the efforts of the medical staff, the victim, unfortunately, passed away shortly after being admitted.

 

 

Police suspect that the perpetrator of the crime was the victim's romantic partner, and the shooting likely resulted from a personal dispute between them. The police are actively investigating the case to gather more information and determine the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
