Yohani de Silva to be used as Brand Ambassador to coincide with the 2020 Expo Dubai Exhibition

The Ministry of Tourism is preparing to use Sri Lankan international sensible singer Yohani de Silva as a brand ambassador to promote the Sri Lankan tourism industry in line with the 2020 Expo Dubai Exhibition.

Tourism Minister Prasanna Ranatunga has informed the Cabinet that a multi-cultural exhibition with Yohani de Silva is planned to be held as part of the Sri Lanka National Day celebrations at the Global Festival on January 3, 2022.

Rs. The Cabinet has approved Rs. 150 million for the Dubai Expo and the amount expected to be spent on Yohani's concert is Rs. 5.5 million.
